who ever needs it...
with OS it's not about protecting the IP of the product to market it.. it's abotu getting a product that does something for you.

take ANY company that has a job to do. if they need a piece of software to make that job easier, they will pay for that software to be developed. they won't care about iof it's OS or not... they don't want to get into software marketing.. they just need a tool to do their job.

you mistake OS as all just a bunch of volunteers.
