"you're looking at artifacts caused by the photocopying process."

No, its not an extra pixel here or there, or a missing line or added line, its not Times new Roman, the typography experts also couldn't identify the typeface either. The ratio of loop to ascent isn't times roman, the serifs don't match. It implausible to think that the copying process always extends (for example) the top serif on an 'l' in the same way, so it must be from the original font.

2. "historical FACT that typewriters in the 1970s did NOT have th superscripts or curlicue quotes"

Yes they did, I had a mechanical one that did raised 1 and 2 and 1/2 1/4 ligatures. I attacked with the omnipresent comment because you are asserting something you cannot know as fact. If I locate a typewriter with a 'th' then you can simply assert something else you cannot possibly know as fact. Or I could wait for CBS to obtain the original and show their proof.

"No, the difference is that someone forged documents to try to make it appear that the honorabl discharge was suspect. The FACT isBush met his ANG requirements for the full time he was in."

No the memo doesn't say anything about giving him an honerable discharge when he deserved a dishonorable one. He could get a bad report and still be honorable discharged. Without that memo all you know is Bush skipped a medical and didn't do the last part of his service. So he either skipped, pulled strings or was given special dispensation.
I think he was too well connected to skip, I don't think commanders were easy going in Vietnam times, so I think he pulled family strings.

"This whole mountain from a molehill is nothing more than an attempt to distract from Kerry's very real problems with his own military service"

I think the opposite, I think there's something to find there, and I think this is a Karl Rove construct to deflect us from looking.
