Allchin's last stand?

It's sad, really sad...: ...that a frank and honest assessment of what was obviously an exercise in shadow boxing can be so quickly flicked away by some Microsoft-dependent robot who can only say, "Hear, hear."

"Get over it"?!? Not likely. Microsoft is in a serious world of hurt, but it is hurt it has brought upon itself.

What troubles me most, is that my penchant for the underdog is now being quickened with soft feelings for Microsoft (shudder). Indeed, they just can't pull it off and I'm beginning feel sorrow for them!
