It was inevitable...
The boss has a right to protect his property (electronic and physical) and perhaps some type of limitation on the use of these devices AT WORK is probably overdue.
That said, when are we going to see USB ports in MORE devices, such as boom boxes, home stereo systems, car radios, MP3 players, etc? Thumb drives are the best storage media for portable music (and other things) ever invented (so far). Millions of them are in use already. Why won't the audio engineers at companies like Pioneer, Panasonic, etc. get their acts together and just give us a port?
