Kind of funny really, the RIAA is allegedly stealing someone else's intellectual property in their jihad to protect their own intellectual property.

As for "dying last gasps", I don't remember seeing any sort of massive drop in p2p sharing lately, so no, I would assume things are rolling along as well as ever.
