- Online games ALL suffer the same problem.

Latency! Or as the games call it, LAG.
Over the holiday weekend we had the grand kids here and I watched them play Halo on the PC. Even with a very fast DSL line, the problem I heard over and over was the lag.
Two tenths of a second doesn't sound like much, until you realize you can't possibly win against the guy with zero lag (usually the host.)
