So who's clueless?
I own a small business and I'll wager two year's earnings that my customer relations and the data tracking I do for my customers' needs are 1,000% better than any large enterprise's, with the possible exception of IBM's. Pray tell, Dear Ax, when was the last time Microsoft or Dell called and knew your name, your software/hardware preferences, all the details of hardware/software problems you've been having (not only with their[/] hardware/software/firmware, but on everything you've got), intimate details of how your network is set up, your favorite football team, your birthday, etc. etc. etc. ad nauseum? My clients can't even get decent help or business advice from the likes of Dell or Microsoft, so if those two companies are attempting to use CRM, they're apparently pretty clueless about how to use it.

You really ought to check out the world of small business, Ax, where 90% of the American economy is and where virtually all the innovation happens--you'd be amazed at what that "mom-and-pop" small business is already doing that your company hasn't even thought of yet.
