And furthermore, why whine about having to move to another development platform? (i.e. .Net)

I mean, every new version of Windows has required some adjustment on the part of Programmers. And sometimes, it requires ditching your old tools and ways and moving to new tools and ways. It's called 'Progress'. (Anyone remember when most of us used a simple TEXT EDITOR to make web pages with? I never whined when forced to use tools, cause all the new stuff made hand coding HTML a REAL headache).

Things CHANGE. Yes, change can be scary. Get over it. You'd think these whiners would have learned this one the first day of Kindergarten, when scary change became not-so-scary. Look and leap, and for goodness sakes, stop WHINING, and just go with the flow.
