Most voters are idiots

Let me make this perfectly clear, this is a nonpartisan statement. Most voters vote with their emotions based on what they are spoon fed from the mainstream media. This years elections will be based on two issues:
1. What's in it for me
2. The War on terrorism

Our personnal liberties will never be addressed as strong campaign issues because both sides of the political aisle like to abuse them without restriction. The message you suggest would be lost to the majority of the population. Frankly the only consistant messages I am hearing is vote for Kerry hate Bush or Vote for Bush hate Kerry with a smattering of issues thrown in.
