Actually if open source rejects this method of fighting spam, then their users will noyt have the same spam fighting benefits that Windows users will have access to. Windows becomes the gadget with caller id for email and open source becomes a gadget with anonymous email that allows spoofed addresses.

Sounds like open source is taking the Win Lose on this one.
