Lion's Share
Are you happy to wrap your music collection in a closed
license? Are you glad about a single provider being all
things to all people? Is a tech economy that is not evenly
distributed among various providers an inherently unstable
one?

Are you prepared to step off the podium at some point and
talk about the merits of design and engineering instead of
the virtues of market share. All you've ever managed to
reveal in your arguments is the degree to which your
choices are predetermined. Not a laudable case to my mind.

Try to convince us of something other than "might is right."
Try convincing us to move from a superior AAC codec,
designed by Dolby's sound engineers to be an open
standard. Try convincing us that Microsoft's closed lower
quality codec is the way to go. Argue on behalf of
mediocrity and how we are better suited to it and it is better
suited to us. Tell us, while you're at it, to jump off the same
cliff our friends jump off. With consumer critical judgement
so anemic these days - you're sure to get some agreement.

regards
