1 billion free songs or 200,000 pay songs?
When are these guy's gonna wake up and give us a great music service??

About 4 years ago we moved from playing cd's and changed to pc hard drives and mp3 players (rio 500's)for car, jogging and travel. Our cd's were never ripped but rather we went to Napster at that time and just downloaded digital copies of what we already owned. Not to many years before we replaced our vinyl with cd's so this seemed like evolution to us. Our cd's moved to the garage and after a time we donated them to our local library. We stopped buying cd's and only downloaded free music, not because it was free but because we had changed the way we found and listened to our music. Bye bye radio and record store. With our pc connected to our home sound system and hdtv we had a way to play music with just a couple of clicks from our wireless keyboard. Our music and music video library is now huge but it's still very easy to find any music file quickly (thanks Dr. Tag). Now our rio's have been replaced with iPods but we still download free music beccause mp3's are a snap find on band websites and yes, p2p. Am I downloading big hit music? Sometimes, but for the most part with the labels so freaked out about downloaders I for the most part listen and the discard the music the RIAA so wants me to pay for. When I get spoofed files on p2p (the ones with the loud noise after 30 seconds of music) I delete it and make a mental note to stay clear of that band. With the wealth of music in free cyberspace it's to bad most of it's not for sale at the pay sites and that is something they better figure out fast. Jail time or not I'm still downloading movies and music and you should to!!
