MS partner today...
MS victim tomorrow. Should anyone really be surprised?

I found it hilarious last year to see all these iTunes wanna-be on-line music stores falling over themselves in cozying up to Microsoft in partnering to establish their on-line music presence.

MS was all too happy to assist theses future suckers... oops, "partners" to help further propagate and enhance the intended MS media monopoly (thru pushing WMA).

MS manages to indirectly extend it's influence while avoiding the ire of the DOJ (such as it is) and the EU re anti trust transgressions and a future media monopoly.

Other "behind the scenes" partnerships, such as MS assisting Napster to be able to offer and establish sweet heart on-line music university deals, seems even more insidious but typically MS.

Predictably, the chickens are now coming home to roost.

All these past "partners" who have willingly been spreading the MS gospel will soon become "victims" as MS moves into their on-line space.

Was it pure greed or stupidity on the part of these "partners" in ignoring or dismissing the MS business model?

Will some people never learn???

(Are rumours of MS offering Beatles tunes and the timing of the intro of the MS music store with all the recent Beatle "anniversary buzz" just a coincidence???)
