What do we know about WinFS?
In response to the prior comment:
What MS is saying is that it essentially knows how things stand with WinFS, its implementation, and when and how it will be added to Windows.

Bill Gates was quoted as saying something like, "Do you think I'm stupid?!" If he thinks WinFS does something users want, then he probably has some pretty solid marketing studies behind him, particularly for a development effort this big and expensive. I suspect that there's a substantial enterprise use for it, in particular.

Just a reminder, an opponent has to be respected. Not exaggeratedly, but enough to work out the value of his moves.
