Hey, the govt keeps knocking Corel out of their configs
seen enough govt paperwork to know they are coasting on the IT decisions made years ago, and hammered out with their baracuda (purchasing buyers who are much like the MS lawyers and accounts), and are trying now to pull a fast one by making it ALL seem like its a MS tiger trap that they helpless stepped into. Wrong, govt operates much like the highly proprietary, predatory, commercial world with mafia styled tac and strong arm tactics to get the pricing they want, which is drastically cheaper than Joe Public, on everything from Adobe, Autocad, MS, Oracle, IBM, plus have provisional clauses that grant them more permissions and rights than the EULA allows Joe Public.

What Cali does now, is try to correct their own budget missteps, and its a wonderful tac. It's not their fault, its MS sole fault. And when someone sues a California industry or utility, it's not California's fault and the entity must be defended. . . . . it's in the contract.
