Linspire
Well, I'm not a big fan of Windows, Linux, or Apple...Windows because of too many things to list. Linux because it is too arcane for the average person. Apple because it is too Mickey Mouse to really be a contender.

However, I just installed Linspire/Lindows on my second PC and I have to say, it is...hands down...the easiest version of Linux I have ever used before. I'm even typing on it right now!

I can easily see myself using this more and more and possibly making it a replacement to Windows XP all together.

I think it would be a great thing for the heart of American technology (California/Silicon Valley) to go the Linux route. It would definately make it something to drive the push for an alternative. That's what its all about after all...giving people a choice. By choice, I mean a VALID choice. You can't tell grandma to go buy a Linux PC and expect her to use it. Linux has a ways to go before it is nearly as user friendly as Microsoft...but something like this would surely push that forward more.
