Not in your lifetime ...
The term 'personal grudges' is a subjective one. People usually engage in lawsuits because they think that they have been wronged. Dumb people say 'Why do people hate me enough to cause me so much trouble'. Intellegent people say 'How can I change MY behaviour in order to avoid these problems.' It is the same in the corporate world. Successful corporations modify their behaviour. Microsoft has been very resistant to change and very willing to blame their problems on their own customers. And the result as have maintained ever since the settlement will be endless litigation. And in plenty of THESE cases, they are settling and paying big bucks under non disclosure agreements. The lawyers know that Microsoft has made themselves into a honey pot by the terms of their settlement with the DOJ. They have done it to themselves and they deserve what they are getting. It takes a lot of effort to 'hate' a company and it doesn't happen without a lot of effort on the part of the company in question to make themselves hated. There are plenty of rich companies in the world and all have avoided the kind of karma that MS has embellished itself with. As Bill Gates has often said, "Life isn't fair, get used to it'. He will need to pay attention to his own admonition more and more as time goes by.
