Important thing is they are considering (thinking) for a change
whether they roll back to Win2k, ditch and take on Apple/FreeBSD/Linux/Solaris is second to the fact that govt patterns on tech review and purchasing is an age old set of rules and restrictions they put in place but where too lazy to review and revise. And cause they have their own purchasing buyers and lawyers who negotiate and strong armed deals with most all vendors that regular consumers never see (except maybe slightly lower than adjusted taxes), govt has always had teeth as sharp as most vendors. Hey, in most states, they can ignore major sections of a EULA, invoke lemon clauses based on their own drawn up criteria, and of course, low ball a bid or purchase at their discretion. Enjoy traveling on your govt build grid.
