On a more serious note, congratulations Microsoft, you have began to do what is called "Listening to your customers"

This is a good move by them and the opensource communities should both praise it and exploit it.

OpenOffice 2.0 needs full version compatability if it is going to make a dent in the Office Suite market.

Back to the development groups.

Oh and in a great media like move, I retract my previous post about Microsoft's lock on XML, because I didn't see the part about royalty free license.
