Good riddance
All it was was a big chunk of shameless advertising.

Not to mention a lot of programs DO take advantage of the way things currently work. Especially earch engines and other similar websites that rely on spiders.

I also think it gave VeriSign a very unfair advantage - no other company can advertise on every misspelled address, giving VeriSign a virtually unlimited amount of advertising space!
