Microsoft Clusters
I could see a cluster working better for Microsoft than some large multiprocessor server. Even with Windows Server 2003, I still have problems. I would trust a x86 Mainframe anyway. The hardware is about as stable as the Microsoft software that would run on it. That's why Linux is getting ported over to other platforms.
