Microsoft is already mission critical...
A young MCSE apprentice approached me about this. I informed him that, in our world, Microsoft was already mission critical to everything we do. I have mainframe like capabilities already on my rock solid SQL Server 2000 boxes. Minus the reboots and patch maintenance windows, we are at 90.999% uptime for the week. Last week was a little more challenging because we were killing the servers with requests for Windows XP SP2 information. Windows delivers iron clad reliability for a fraction of the cost. I love the ability to right click on everything in an attempt fix problems.
