.NET Smart Card
I just pinged my MS rep and we discussed a .NET smart card. My recommendation was to embed Windows XP on the card, use C# and ADO.NET to access the data and run all of this over T3 links from various retail outlets. I have one of my top-Top-TOP MCSE's on this.
