digital voice ?

Is my brain cells not working ??? Somehow I am not able to understand this process.
Why should they dictacte the instructions and letters into digital voice for sending
across ? Voice files take up much more space, and would require much more time to send
it across. And if these guys have ever talked to an indian, they would know that
indian accent is much different from US or UK accent. Anyone with a little common
sense would guess how indians would do transcripts listening to a recorded western voice.

Offshore outsourcing may be good in some fields. But any company that plans to do offshoring
should do a feasibility study, taking into account the language and cultural differences,
and the expertise these indians have in the particular field etc.

Without considering these facts, if you blindly oursource the work, you are going to get
screwed for sure.
