Good work if you can get it
That's pretty good. Gates not only gets to provide solutions, he gets to define the problem.

Example: WinFS as the solution to being able to find the files we need among the mass/mess of them.

But who says that's the problem that needs solving? The writer makes it sound as if this is a generally recognized problem. But it's Bill Gates & Co. who say this is the problem that needs solving.

Incidentally, the way the solution has been described to us so far, it sounds as though the solution also means locking ourselves into Microsoft products. What a coincidence!
