Time to put a stop to this!!
The RIAA and the Motion Picture folks are just running wild and now they want the Feds to do their dirty work. Yep, it is time to change the copyright laws....put clear limitations on the RIAA and the Motion Picture Asssociation. Their actions are doing much more harm than good.

It is clear that the DCMA needs to be changed to allow for reasonable personal use. I have no problem if you are copying and selling the item, meaning the movie or the music track, but going after folks that have used P2P and other no charge sharing is nothing less than a cruel game.

I for one will continue to buy used DVD's and CD's in order NOT to provide support for the entertainment companies. There is an excellent used CD\DVD store here and often they have titles within a week of their release. I have never participated in a P2P sharing program, but I fully understand why people do. The cost for a new CD or DVD is totally out-of-line. I pay less for used and the entertainment companies make NOTHING!

Until they realize that sales are down, not because of piracy, but because they are turning out junk, they will never learn. Congress created the DCMA and they need to kill it.
