Ok why should your tax dollars go to prosecuting P2P pirates?

If that's the way they want to go why not just take those tax dollars and give the to the RIAA and friend then tell they shut up and enjoy the free money. It's a better idea than just giving money to lawyers.

Sue 10,000 p2p users and guess what? Nothing will change and if anything you might get increases just out of spite.

P2P is hear to stay and nothing is going to change that. The corporation need to realize it and change thier way of doing business. Thier control of the market is over. If you think no one is buying CDs anymore then stop producing them. Put out DVDs with audio content that offers value and is too large to bother downloading. Let P2P work for you as a promotion tool. Radio station won't like but you won't be blowing millions of dollars on independent record promoters anymore. Look at the savings.
