"Many comnpanies WANT the metadata so they can track the <ocument. If you allow users to make the call then it's not going to work."
that is a lame excuse and you know it, there are ways to protect a company without forcing it on everyone, options, it's all about option
do you think lawyers and such want metadata? what about SCO when their metadata was discovered? I think most businesses would NOT want this feature
