Whoa a second there
Actually most people don't know it's illegal. Did you know that most people think File Swapping is no differnt than listening the radio? Yup survey was done and 62% were unaware that it's illegal.

Now why is it illegal. Can't have you listen to an uncontrolled distribution channel now can we. Censorship! That's what this all about. By censoring what we hear artist are forced to pay huge sums to corporation to access distribution channels or be a starving artist.

Most people are compeletely unaware that they aren't supposed to hear music that is not sanctioned by the big five.

But seriously here. I record off radio or download it. What the big deal? With execption of the censorship deally. Honestly what is the big deal if not to stop you from hearing music no of the Big 5?

I mean if I hear song X and like it and listent to 3 more songs of the CD I buy it for my collection. CD are collectables just like sports cards having a copy isn't good enough you need an authentic CD. Those are the one who buy CDs. They bought CDs 20 years and they continue to buy today.

Freeloaders taped off radio, dubbed tapes, burned CDs and now download or get free internet radio (underground internet radio that is).

Nothing has changed today except the collector has greater access to more music. Music that competes with the big 5. All because of P2P and the net.
