I'm tired of this.
I am really disinterested in hearing any more about government for sale. Everytime someone hears about a decission they do not like, or an action they do not support, they scream government for sale.

I truly believe that most congressmen(women) are thinking beings doing generally what they believe in. There is a bit of horse trading where they might trade support for something they don't like as much so their constituants might get something they really need, but most follow what they think is right (Yes even Bush, Kerry, Hatch, and Scalia etc. etc. etc.)

Keep in mind that corperate special interests may finance a lot, but they have no vote. We vote. If you won't do enough personal research to get past the comercials and find out what a candidate really believes in, then don't blame RJ Reynolds, the RIAA, or Microsoft. You may elect a scoundrel for one term, but if he gets in a second time, then either you asked for them and deserve them, or you weren't paying enough attention (and still derserve them).

Hatch must be doing something right as far as the people in Utah are concerned, because he is still there. Bush must be doing something OK, because half of the people in America appear prepared to vote for him, likewise with Kerry.

If you don't like how these decissions turn out, complain, debate, and write congressmen, but grow up and quit using the Government Is For Sale excuse, 'cause it don't wash here.
