Are you sure you don't work for one of the record companies? I've never heard such ignorant statement in my life. You're either ignorant or a fear monger working for RIAA.

Leave it to corporations, RIAA and the like to try and exert as much control over people's lives as they can. The idea that P2P software MAY be used for illegal purposes is trivial compared to the overall utility of the software.

The mere idea that the pond scum lowlifes at the RIAA and MPAA want to make it illegal is beyond absurd. The fact that they can't convince some people to pay them money for CD albums with two decent songs on it is their problem.

Your concept is akin to telling me that ink pens should be illegal because somebody might use one to forge a check.
