Google Gadgets for Linux appears

RE: Google Gadgets on Ubuntu 64-bit: I was able to install Google Gadgets on my 64-bit box, but it required installing about a dozen developent packages, and then compiling from source. Once done, the Gadgets did indeed work, but only in the Sidebar. They did not float, as Screenlets do.
