There is one true OS

I did in fact discuss this with Mike over lunch yesterday. Indeed, it was then that I supplied him with the data to support his conclusions. After compiling the data into a 2-by-2 pro/con matrix using Excel macros, the results came into crystal clear focus. I can't go into specifics, because that would violate our marketing protocol. But Mikey liked it, and he is a professional CIO, so it should be good enough for other wise IT pros to take a cue from.

Besides all the patent issues, that other OS will not survive the trademark infringement suit we're planning. I probably shouldn't let this out, but lunch was so good....we're looking at suing for violation of registered trademark. Our legal department believes we have the rights to the successive "i" and "n" characters in the 2nd and 3rd positions of OS names. Which just reinforces what I've always pointed out to Mike: our intellectual property is so far ahead that others are just copycats trying to play catchup.
