But, but, but...
The local bookstores will unite, form the BIAA and sue the P2P out of existance.

They say that their sales of books have dropped with the P2P's usage. Also, people aren't returning old books for pennies on the dollar so the BIAA can resell them for skyhigh prices.

On a more serious note so that this post has some substance: I think this is great. Especially since Internet2 is a gigibit network. Hopefully it is accessable to those who are off campus too... actually that would be too much to ask for. Can't see colleges allowing access to Internet2 from outside of campus.
