Oh, one more thing!
Every project that we ever had done outsourced overseas has cost our company more in the long run then it would have cost us to just do in house. We are now very, very carefull on all projects that get outsourced. When I used to work for Microsoft we would spend $10,000-$25,000 per visit to recruit new talent from Pakistan and India. Yet we would only bring back maybe 2 or 3. I also find it amusing that most of the people doing the overseas recruiting at Microsoft were Indian themselves.
