Chad says, "You really have to wonder about the collective sanity of a group that stays the course even when it's obviously the wrong one.

It's blanket statements like this made without any real world experience with those with the power to make a change that make me giggle. My CIO would say to you, "Prove to me now that the decision to stay the course with MS is the wrong one."

I know where you're comin' from, Chad, but I live with the knowledge necessary to know that rewriting our internal applications in a time window that's feasible to justify the expense necessary isn't possible at this time and may never be. THAT'S why many companies are staying with Microsoft...it has worked for them in the past and continues to do so.

With that said, be careful how quickly you throw around words like "insane"...it may come back to haunt 'ya later.
