I believe that's what I just said. Though not in those words.

True enough. But if there is an open standard way of doing something, and only the proprietary way of doing it is listed as an option, then what's a novice web page builder to do? Anyway I think that except for MS's web site, pretty much the only sites that use IE-only extensions are novice sites anyway. But there are enough of those around to make a difference.
