forced? you exagerate...
this is only for companies who ignore many pieces of best practice advise and use auto update from MS to update their computers.
if the company is msall enough, you cna have people do it on each station, if it's too large for that, you should have the resources to atleast use some kind of centralized system.

i would HOPE that few companies are using fully automated updates w/o some IT person ensuring the patches don't break anything...
