Unfortunately, by trusting so-called experts and not doing your own research, you are left to the whims of opinion.

I know that I have contributed to "open source" and write proprietary software, and the latter has generated substantially more income from those who benefit directly from it.

Open source / Linux programmers are often paid for other things than programming, such as tech support, services, etc, as you should know.

If you choose to interpret facts as spin, then so be it. SCO may lose in court, but I doubt it. IBM has a track record of settling out of court to avoid the embarassment of losing a case. I expect that to happen here when the "chips hit the fan."
