Actually the correct
response would have been to say nothing. But his point is well based in that the security features SHOULD have been part of the original XP install and not a second thought patch job. This is supposed to be a feature upgrade for security as well as patches for security issues.

Linux and the various BSD's already came with Firewalls and built in security tools. BUT like all software / code, they have security issues that are usually not caught until later. This patch shouldn't be installing the pop-up blocker and the firewall on by default, that SHOULD have been done already with the OS. And that was his point.

I may not like or agree with Xunil_Sierutuf outbursts at times, but this time he has a valid point.
