Time for Users and Pro's to Speak Up
I think that it is time for Users and Professionals alike to speak up on this topic loudly enough so that American industry can hear their voices. Maybe towards that end ZDNet could put together a forum for this type of communication.

I, for one, am highly irritated at the offshore tech support that I have experienced. I am a very experienced computer user so I do not call tech support very often. I have had several experiences in the last year that have left me very dissatisfied. Due to the phone connection and for other reasons I have found the tech support person on the other end of the line very difficult to understand. Apparently those people found me equally hard to understand, because they either helped me with a problem that I did not have or they were not able to help at all.

I have written to the companies involved but I think there needs to be a nationwide forum in order to make any kind of impression.
