70% saving in an instant

It's very simple, if a major corporation is prepared to spend $1 billion doing a project then the project will cost $1 billion.

If a tiny company wants to do the same thing for $200,000 then it costs them $200,000.

So if you want to save 70% off your IT budget, just sack the unproductive 70% of your staff.

If you're outsourcing rather than employing your own staff:
1. Get the cheapest quote from an offshore company,
2. Add a requirement that the IT staff be local for better communications,
3. ask local companies to match the price.

You'd be suprised at the price you can match.
