It could be worse if they do patch all the holes
Suppose all the holes are patched: no more buffer overflow exploits, HTML malformations, or port hijacks... Intelligent and serious virus writers will find other ways to quietly move in on future operating systems that every one agreed was now 'secure' and didn't need the constant oversight we now have.
