Yes, Virginia there really is an OS/2 [still]!
It now manifests itself as eCommerce Station for new customers but many of the old customers are still using it. Customers like banks. Until a couple years ago it was still used for real-time data tracking like athletic competitions and chess tournaments. For those uses it has been replaced by an obscure run-time kernel with a bunch of custom tools that can be changed to suit each event. Freax or something like that. But for old time, old-money, hardline conservative business applications nothing has come along to effectively displace it yet. And there is also Citrix from Ed Iacobucci, since departed from Citrix and formerly of OS/2, for interplatform communications and data exchange/remote connection needs.

So, not only is it not dead, it even has a few mutant offspring that can't be dislodged from their niches. For the record, I no longer use it and haven't since the mid-90s, but I haven't thrown it away yet either......
