The brains just figured out where the future is
and it's not in tech. Virtually all tech can be exported and will be. The skills important in the developed world will be the soft skills and the money and power is following them. Decrying the loss of tech is equivalent to decrying the loss of the family farm. It may be sad, it may be the passing of an era, but it is the future.
