The Emperor Has No Clothes
I can't help but laugh when I read about Google "democratizing" the IPO process and their "don't be evil" motto, etc. What a joke! They are displaying unvarnished greed when it comes to their IPO -- they've priced it so high that there's only one direction -- down. I guess they're giving us "little people" an equal opportunity along with institutional investors to get screwed. And we keep getting more negative news, such as the one about their General Counsel and his little brush with the SEC. So much for "don't be evil." At least the people at Enron didn't pretend to be saving the world while laughing all the way to the bank with their billions. What if everyone refused to go the party (or better still, shorted the stock and stopped using their search engine, as I have)?
