too funny...
is it me, or does anyone else find it outragiously hallarious that one of the big music labels is whinning about someone else not playing fair? ah... this is too precious.

as for the issue itself... i don't think Apple is legally required to let anyone else use it's technology... on the other hand... Virgin could:
1) stop whinning and do what Real did, if they want a DRM music format playable on the iPod
OR...
2) stop whinning and sell your music in a non DRM MP3 or AAC format, both which will play just fine on the iPod.
