It takes a long period of time to pursue a civil suit in the courts. The way that it works is that someone claims they were damaged unfairly and presents a variety of claims. The defendant responds with their own version of an answer to the claims and the judge allows for a discovery period to occur. That is when the actual evidence is disclosed and that time has not yet arrived in the SCO vs IBM action.

The OSS fans are dismayed and want to see SCO trounced at the bar for daring to besmirch the linux image, but they are like a bunch of ninnies. If SCO has a frivolous case, they will get their comeuppance in due time. But consider that attorneys of the class of David Boies, once the darling of the OSSers for his grilling of Bill Gates, has seen the evidence himself and has made a judgement on his own that his reputation and personal income will be enhanced by a triumph in this matter.

A lot of OSS folk sneer at the SCO case as it has been presented to them by their own preachers, but they should take pause when a world class litigation pro like Boies has thrown in with the opposition. With that much horse hockey in evidence, there's bound to be a pony or two hiding in there! LOL!!!
