MS is not at the root of all evil, just some of it. To say otherwise is simple paranoia.

Germany is not abandoning Linux, they are just waiting for the smoke to clear before moving forward. A prudent decision given that not only Linux but software that the Germans would use on
Linux might be effected by court decisions.
