Here's some reading for you
The guys in Las Vegas used computers at an Internet cafe on the Strip. Their names show up on the sign-up logs during August 2001, when they were getting their last "freak" on.

And the Pakistani in custody allegedly had a computer full of logs, documents and saved e-mails dating back for years outlining possible attacks. At least that was the excuse for going to "Orange" in D.C. and New Jersey this past week.
